家具のショールーム「カンディハウス札幌」の増築計画です。
エレベーターの増築にあわせ、家具を展示するためのツリーハウスを提案しました。

来訪者の目に映るのは、南側の大きなガラス越しに広がる美しい森と、その中に建てられたツリーハウスです。
4つのハウスのうち3つは家具を展示するための「家具ハウス」、残る1つはツリーハウスを体験できる「展望ハウス」としています。
ツリーハウスと同じデザインのバードハウスも設置し、自然と隣り合わせた心豊かな暮らしを象徴する建築としました。

家具ハウス
自然の中に建つツリーハウスに家具を置くことで、木という自然素材への親和性や、家具づくりへのこだわりを喚起します。
ツリーハウスに展示された家具は、訪れる人々に強い印象を残す広告的な効果も担っています。

展望ハウス
大人が2人入れるほどの小さなハウスです。森の音を聴き、さわやかな風に包まれ、鳥やエゾリスの姿を眺める──
季節の移ろいを五感で感じることのできる、小さな体験の場となっています。

“tree house project”

This is an expansion project for the furniture showroom CondeHouse Sapporo.
Along with the addition of an elevator, a series of tree houses were proposed as exhibition spaces for furniture.

Visitors are greeted by a view of a beautiful forest through the large south-facing glass façade, where several tree houses stand among the trees.
Of the four houses, three are “Furniture Houses” designed to display furniture, and one is an “Observation House” that allows visitors to experience a tree house firsthand.
A birdhouse designed in the same style as the tree houses is also installed, symbolizing a lifestyle that exists in harmony with nature.

Furniture Houses
By placing furniture within tree houses built in a natural forest setting, the project emphasizes the connection between furniture made of wood and the material’s natural origins.
The furniture displayed in these tree houses not only showcases craftsmanship but also serves as an impactful architectural advertisement that leaves a strong impression on visitors.

Observation House
This is a small structure, just large enough for two adults to enter.
It provides a space where one can listen to the sounds of the forest, feel the gentle breeze, and observe birds and squirrels—an intimate place to experience the changing seasons through the senses.
